Lovely countryside views from the site, able to pitch where you choose so we could camp near our friends. The children all had an absolute blast! Clean toilets and showers. Fab little shop with fire pits to hire.

We stayed over Thursday and Friday nights. The atmosphere on the Friday night was very different because the site was much busier (to be expected as it was a summer weekend with fine weather).

Lovely and spacious campsite, very clean and well looked after, great facilities will definitely recommend and stay again

The park was great, and the shop and staff were absolutely wonderful. Gave us great advice on local bits we didn’t know about (including a local Indian restaurant that delivers right to your tent!), made extending our stay very easy, and all in all a wonderful experience. Also some very friendly chickens! Can’t wait to go again!

Absolutely fabulous site for kids, the play area is outstanding my son had a great few days playing on it, and you can pitch right next to it. The super friendly animals are another brilliant addition. The couple that run the shop are an absolute credit to this site and my son loved chatting tractors with them. Will stay again and will recommend to friends

Great location for all we wanted - Hartington caves, Dovedale stepping stones, Matlock Bath, Carsington Water and Lumsdale Valley waterfall. Everything around 20/30 mins drive each way from the site.
The site was lovely and clean, toilets cleaned everyday. Lovely farm animals on site which all seem friendly too. There's also a fridge and freezer which you can use in one of the toilet blocks, we never knew this until we arrived. We never needed to use them as we prepped with freezer blocks ect but handy to know (although they were rather full)
Lovely little shop on site too which has everything you need.

Lovely campsite, lovely people who run it, good on site shop and other facilities. Seeing the farm animals was a bonus. Very close to Matlock and Matlock Bath.

Clean and tidy. Loved the chickens and pigs. Well stocked little shop. Great views. Loos and showers were well maintained. Friendly staff. Really good place for families with children... not so good if you don't like children .... haha we didn't mind. So good to see them runing around and having fun. Great play area. Close enough to visit Bakewell, Buxton and Matlock Bath.

Glad we were not in a tent as it's not the flattest of campsites. Clue is in the name though - Middlehills. We'd still go back though.
