Right on the lake.

Smelly old shower block and having to pay to use showers and wash up. This should be free as sit isn’t cheap. No hot water to wash hands.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Quiet and clean.

Not much stock in the shop & pitch up have not removed the fact that there is no longer a cafe there and hasn't been for along time or wifi.

The position of the camp site was well situated between some gorgeous villages and towns. We had lovely days exploring the nearby areas.
The owners seemed very pleasant and made sure to come and introduce themselves.

We had many issues with the actual caravan, after making the first one known (electrics in the twin bedroom didn't work) we decided to just create a snag list as we didn't want our celebratory few days ruined by constantly having the owners around to fix things.
The biggest issue by far was that the fridge didn't work. We did a big shop for all our meals at the beginning of our trip and on day 2 it became clear the fridge was not cold and most things had to be binned. The meat had gone bad, the milk was like cheese. The salad had gone rotten. The fridge stank.
We were happy to just buy day by day however, when we checked out and I informed the lady owner of our issues and specifically the fridge, and how much we had to bin, there wasn't so much as an apology. We didn't ask for compensation, we didn't even complain during the stay and yet not a simple sorry.
Other issues included dangerous decking that hadn't been screwed down properly, poor electrics in the main room and bathroom as lights kept flickering/switching off randomly. There were also very large screws along the decking and car parking area just lying about.
The site itself would be very pretty if it wasn't completely crowded by mismatched caravans, the place looks cramped and uninviting in reality.

Stunning picturesque location. Quiet surrounded by nature. Clean and well presented facilities. Lovely helpful staff.

The site was very friendly. The fishing was great, just outside the caravan and the catches were of a good size and healthy. The grounds were kept tidy and although the showers looked dated they were always clean and we never had to wait to use one. We didn’t mind the 20p charge. We had a lovely stay. Thank you x

Loved everything. Theres a trail inside of the camping. Everything was so clean and the host was both amazing and helpful. It was my first camping and I cant say enough how happy we were at the camiping.
