WOW – I think we’ve found the best campsite in Cornwall, our first visit but we will be returning soon!
Large level pitches with hedges in between and open space for the kids to play.
Fantastic facilities including play park, dog walking area, games room and most importantly the indoor swimming pool that was heated! An absolute gem to find on a smaller holiday park.
The facilities were always spotless with the staff cleaning 3 times a day – a super helpful and friendly team that offered support over the phone with making the booking and we’re seemingly always on hand for anything we needed (like extra logs for our campfire at 7pm).

Great location for getting out and about to visit different locations, we visited Falmouth, Penzance, St Ives, Porthleven and Gwithian Beach with ease.

Hoping to visit again this summer with extended family on one of the double pitches.

Could not fault this campsite

This is a clean well laid out site with good facilities that work.There is a lovely heated pool and play areas for kids including football field.There are rules and the kids are happy to entertain themselves and you don't have to worry about them and so you can relax. The site is well situated to go off in any direction to visit Cornwall's attractions and beaches within 30 minutes to an hour.

The play area trampolines and aparatus could be renewed but they all worked just looked tatty in places a sign of happy kids!

Pitches good size and mostly surrounded by shrubs and small trees. Loved having on pitch water supply for caravan. Toilet and shower facilities very clean. Swimming pool clean, warm and indoors (great for a washout weather week). Location great for easy access to many Cornish places. Very nice, very local evening walks such as Great Flat Lode and The Basset Monument. Some lovely beaches nearby, we loved Gwithian beach.

The toilets and showers felt a little tired although really clean.
Our pitch had quite a slope in the back corner which needed extra blocks so the caravan legs could reach the field.

Lovely pitches and amazing ground to set up in! Privacy bushes and everything you need near for camping. Was very impressed. Self-check in with no fuss and super easy instructions. Highly recommend. Travelled down to St Michael's Mount for a walk and was so worth it to stay here.

No shop on site but that's being SUPER picky. There's a small Premier a small walk/drive out of the campsite.

The campsite was lovely, the pitches were well kept, spacious and private with the hedge divide. The toilet blocks were what you’d expect on a campsite, they were clean and the showers were nice and hot.
The kitchen area was very handy, with fridges, and a freezer for ice blocks. The washing machine and tumble dryer were also very handy with the unpredictable Cornish weather!
The owners seem to let you just get on with things, which was perfect for us - however they were only a text away, and replied super quickly. I liked that when you ‘check in’ you could just grab your welcome pack and find your pitch - it was nice to just crack on setting everything up.
My partner said he had a lovely conversation with one of the owners when walking around the site, so they are about if you need them.
There were plenty of facilities including a pool and a games room, so it seems like the perfect place for families especially on rainy days.
I really enjoyed our stay at Lanyon and would definitely recommend it to others.

We did have some noisy neighbours and some very barky dogs nearby, however I feel like if it became a problem we could have reached out to the owners via text. Fortunately they quietened down around midnight, and considering we booked a dog friendly site we don’t begrudge the noise.

Showers and toilets were poor. One shower block by reception ran cold and very slow. Signs everywhere saying please take a quick shower - not very easy with a trickle of cold water.

Absolutely brilliant site, tent pitches were amazing and very private. Play park and swimming pool for kids was spot on. Definitely booking again.

Nothing to dislike about this site would definitely recommend.

Lovely park, great for couples or families, very clean and tidy. Nice to have hedges between pitches. Good walks from pitch especially around the local mines and the beach not too far away. The pool was great for our grandchildren.

Not really a dislike, the pool was a little small if more than 8 people were in it and also the signs for the dog field went into a caravan storage field which we were unsure as to whether that was the dog field?

We spent three days at this lovely place and we really enjoyed it! Beautiful place, well maintained area, clean and tidy facilities, very helpful managers. We will definitely come back!
