Our last getaway this year, and Hendre Hall made the stay perfect.
Loved the sauna and we had a lovely meal right after. The braised pork cheeks were delicious. Can’t wait to be back again next year.

The facilities were clean and tidy, the restaurant and bar on site were lovely, and the beach is a two minute walk away. There’s also a park next to the bar.

The tapas restaurant is a little overpriced but delicious.

The location was really good with views over the estuary and towards the mountains. The facilities were adequate, functional and clean.

Access to the bar very limited. Closed when they had advertised it as open and closed to us when a wedding took place.
The access with caravan thru both gates is really tight.

We loved the site and the access to the beach' The bar/ restaurant was excellent.

The toilets and showers were too few for the site when busy and the toilet paper ran out in the women's toilet

The area & pitch were fab, a very clean site. The closeness to the beach was great, just a 5 minute walk & you're on the beach which leads you into the village.
Donkeys, goats & sheep were next to us in the next field, the Donkeys were friendly & loved a head scratch.
The pub & coffee shop on site were great, dog friendly & friendly staff who made you feel welcome.
The village was very quaint & assessable very interesting history which the 'Yarnbombers' told throughout the village in crotcheted memorabilia & history write ups.

The only downside were only 2 toilets each for male & female & although while we were there at the start it was manageable when it became the weekend & got busy it did become a bit of a struggle. But they were very clean.

Lovely little site, 3 minutes walk to the beach, train station where you can go into Barmouth, nice pub 5 minutes walk in the village serving nice food.

Hendre Hall is a lovely site. It's a nice size. Has all the facilities you'd expect from a site this size. It's on a bus route. Trains are nearby and regular. The village shop is owned by Hendre just a short distance away. It has a pub on site plus another one nearby. The site is tidy and well kept. The staff are helpful and friendly. What's not to like. I've been twice and will have another break there this year (2025).10/10.
