Loved the riverside rustic location, very pretty and surprising. We had some weather so experienced the river at very different levels too. Very clean, lots of useful facilities, whole site kept well, friendly staff too.

Great staff, clean facilities and great campsite rules that encouraged an enjoyable stay. Lots of extras you dont always get, like use of a fridge/freezer, common room with wifi etc. Also in a Brilliant location for visiting the northern lakes and the views down the valley are stunning

Nothing at all, couldn’t fault it. Worst thing I had to deal with was 1 water tap had a dodgy flow lol

The staff were so friendly and accomodating ! Whole campsite was clean and well maintained and would reccomend to anyone thinking of camping in the lakes ! 100% will be back & thank you so much ! Kind regards. David and Emma.

Stayed over a weekend and had an amazing time. Fire pits were easily bought at reception. Beautiful views from our pitch. Picnic tables available to use near tent. Showers and toilets were clean with hairdryers provided. Friendly environment all round!

lovely sunset on a clear night, good experience overall, good facilities with hair dryers in the women's bathroom hot showers overall very clean and tidy, 20 mins drive to Keswick and Pooley bridge. pub close by and there's local shops around 15 mins (aldi, homebargains, halfords etc). Allowed fire pits which was a huge plus for us.

quiet time being 10pm-8am (i think this should be 12pm-8am) this isn't ideal if you like a few drinks around the tent on a night, parking was abit of a nightmare and think this should be slightly bigger specifically towards the back. could be more on site things to do such as pool room/darts etc maybe a TV? barley any wifi on site too, so mainly 4G if you could get signal.

Facilities were as expected-clean and functional. Great setting.

Incredibly well organised. Pitched at families and/or the quieter camper.

We were in the wigwams and we're superb at the price.

Toilets immaculate and views were 360 beautiful whilst still accessible the A66 and Keswick.

Came to stay here with my boyfriend and my dog in July. What a lovely treat - and the weather held out for us! But even if it hadn’t, we would’ve enjoyed it just the same. The facilities are EXCELLENT. The staff were very accommodating and the site offered some lovely views of the surrounding fells and farmlands. There was a resident peacock who often took a stroll around the site too. It is a 10 minute walk to a nice dog friendly pub. Short drive to Pooley Bridge, Penrith, Ullswater and other areas. No issues at all during our stay. 10/10 WILL be back. Thank you so much.
