Clean toilets and bathroom

Check-in time is very limited (1 pm-6 pm). However, I believe you can arrive at any time and check in the next morning, but we had to rush to the campsite just to check in!
Not a very quiet area, you could hear the cars passing by in the near main road. Un levelled pitches

Amazing views, great communal area with toaster, microwaves, fridge, freezer and TV. Clean and well looked after place. Absolutely amazing 🤩

Beautiful scenery, clean and tidy, no problems at all with check in got to pick where we wanted to place our tent, lovely, friendly staff, didn't want to come home it was so relaxing and other campers abided by the quiet time rules. We forgot our 3 pronged plug and they supplied one with no hassle.

Loved the dog friendly pod, the view, the size of the site and the stream. Site goes quiet about 10pm which is nice for those with younger children or getting an early start.

Not many cooking utilities. There are two microwaves but ones broke and only one toaster. Internet is very weak with only certain areas able to get some if any. Didn't fuss me but if you are on your phone alot this may become a problem.

Lovely campsite, quiet and well looked after. Owners are very friendly and our pod was very clean. We only stayed a night as was a last minute thing but would definitely return.

Nothing to dislike.

We camped in the top field and the views of Blencathra were absolutely stunning.

The main 3/4 camping areas are separated by hedges or trees so it isn't one mass field of tents/caravans.

Warm water in showers.

Play area for children.

Communal indoor area for wet weather, which has microwave, kettle and toaster. Plus fridge and freezer for general use. There are also plug sockets in there where you can charge things. Plus a tv with DVDs for general use but we didn't use this.

Drinking water taps scattered around the site.

Site accommodating when we wanted to switch from riverside pitch to main area pitch and let you pitch where you choose.

Respectable and friendly fellow campers on the site.

There was rarely warm water in the communal washing up sinks.

Showers are on timers so you have to keep pressing the button constantly, even though I understand it's too stop people running the water off.

There were also only 3 showers in the ladies for the whole site so there were queues in the evening.

A66 is pretty close and is quite loud, but we did know the proximity before we booked.
