Showers were hot and powerful and didn't go off after a few seconds (so annoying!). Lovely lounge area with sofas, tables & chairs and a TV. Massive fridge & freezer for storing supplies, microwaves, kettles etc. Also a little shop for basic supplies. Very easy to find, minutes off the A66 along good roads. We could hear road traffic but to be honest, you don't notice this after a while. Would have been nice to be able to park the car closer to our tents, but understand this would ruin the fields. Definitely would visit again, we need to climb Blencathra which we looked at every evening whilst the sun set behind it. Lovely stay, thanks, Amanda.
