The views were amazing. The staff pointed us in the right direction for a little walk.

Broken sleep for me and my kids, other campers were rude,disrupted, loud. Disrespectful. Loud music was being played until midnight, laughing screaming shouting. Absolutely disregarded that there was children trying to sleep. Drinking.
Woken up several times throughout the night. We had to cut our family holiday short as we are exhausted.
It took a while for someone to come say something but unfortunately it didn’t stop. After that we gave up trying to sleep.

Have all basic facilities you'd need, including toilets, bathrooms and washing area. Very relaxing area and grass is comfortably long. Would be great if we can see the sea from the site but you won't really complain about not being able to. It was an amazing offer when you've taken into account the price.

The dry toilets were a bit smelly, but they were clean.

The site was easy to get to and find. We were greeted on entry by a lovely gentlemen who gave us a sheet with some of the expectancies of the campsite on and explained to us where the toilets/showers and washing up places were. He also explained about the entertainment and bar across the way, and told us about the fire pits and logs that they sell too. He then said we could pitch up anywhere within the white pegs as they were the pitches and they were miles big enough so it was lovely to have the space to set up properly. The site was really quiet and friendly and everyone was respectful of others and the rules of the campsite. We went down to get a fire pit and logs and they were very happy to oblige and also asked if we needed any help getting it started which was great. The views from the campsite were absolutely beautiful and it felt very safe. On Saturday night I believe there was some noise disruption from other campmates (we didn’t hear this as we were asleep) late in the night and on Sunday morning the gentlemen from the site made the effort to come and speak to us to see if we’d been affected by it - something that has happened in lots of campsites before but never had the hosts come and check everything was ok so this was also brilliant. Highly recommended we will be coming back to stay again, easily only a 5-10 minute drive into Weymouth and a great feel. Thankyou!

Very friendly staff, clean spacious campsite with nice on site facilities. Been three years in a row and would definitely go back again. Kids loved the evening entertainment almost as much as the grown ups. Highly recommend

Great campsite, staff were friendly and attentive and it was clear how passionate they were about the site and surrounding area. Site offers live music, and a food truck for breakfast and burgers in the evening.

The managers of the campsite work incredibly hard, constantly cleaning out the toilets and showers, running their refreshment stall and arranging entertainment (music and a bar) each Friday and Saturday. Lots of space for each pitch, all of which are level. Great views.

Being located on a high ridge, it is quite exposed.

Everything! Clean facilities, so much space for the kids to run riot and amazing location! Third time we've camped at a donkey down site and we'll definitely be back 😄

Loved the live music at night and the flexible use of space to pitch up - with great views!!

Braai Bros South African pop up food tent we found was very disappointing. The customer service was unfortunately not great - rude lady and very blunt.
The food was also very over priced, £6 for an unbuttered, smallest portion of watery scrambled egg and half a slice of bacon in a very dry roll!!
The expensive “Gourmet Beef Burger” was also funnily enough not at all “Gourmet”, and tasted and looked like the Rustlers microwave burger.

The grass was also very long all around the campsite and could really do with a good cut.
