The four of us stayed in a pod overlooking the lake, it was beautiful to wake up to. We would book again.

Food at the pub could have been better.
You can't park your car next to the pod, so make sure you have tubs or a cart on wheels to shift your gear easily.

Beautiful setting, quiet, tranquil and just lovely overlooking one of the lakes. Bonus good weather also.

The site was stunning, staff were all so helpful and friendly. On site amenities were a short walk. The pod we stayed in was in a horse shoe shape and other guests were lovely. Felt like a little community

Toilet/shower block was clean and tidy when we arrived on the Monday, by the time we left Wednesday morning it had not been cleaned in two days so was dirty, no toilet paper left in some cubicles, no hand towels left (no hand dryer as an alternative) and the bin was overflowing so not very hygienic, particularly when this was where you were expected to shower and clean your teeth.

Stayed in a camping pod/cabin.
Spacious given the nature of the pods is generally small.
Location was lovely right on the lakes themselves.
Warm and secure pods

The layout lighting and power sources were fine.

Replace the pointless storage unit with a fridge. This would genuinely benefit all kinds of guests and I would personally pay an additional amount for a fridge over this unit.

Similarly a TV with basic freeview would be great for the kids. (However this isn't really a problem as being without a TV in a pod is actually great in itself as it allowed us to get the kids out and about with nature - just late evenings.. again not really a negative at all!)

The pod wasn't cleaned properly prior to our arrival (5pm) under the beds were crumbs and dust and a plastic container from what looked like some form of pastries.

The mattresses (and this is purely based on personal preference) were too soft.

The pod was really cute.
My young children played in the playground, loved the geese and the calm, safe environment.
Good location and the other guests were pleasant. Not rowdy.

The outdoor pool was closed. No one informed us of this, nor offered compensation. I picked this site because of the two pools. I brought fun items for the kids for swimming and talked it up. I think it was quite off-hand to not inform and compensate people.
Also the indoor pool was very busy and they operated an entry system that seemed just made up on the spot. No tickets, no information. Was a bit disappointing.
The restaurant was overpriced too but the staff were great.

The site was very clean & well maintained, the staff were nice & friendly. It was a beautiful setting with lots of geese with their young. You can go swimming when you like (when the pool is open 9-5) The fishing lakes were nice & big with some big fish. Also it is dog friendly.

On the website is says no Staffordshire bull terriers are allowed (along with other breeds) but I saw 3 Staffordshire bull terriers (which is sad as I have & did not bring them due to the rule online)
