Peace and quiet! Excellent food in the clubhouse, friendly helpful staff. Easy check in, everything explained clearly. Clean toilet and shower block. Sit was very clean. I particularly enjoyed being serenaded to sleep by owls!

The pool was great.
The woodland shortcut is great for small children.
Campsite small enough to get around easily and given a map and information before our stay and at check in.

Swimming pool shower absolutely freezing.
It was a shame staff were a bit grumpy, and disappointed to overhear one complaining about their shift dragging. Not professional in earshot of customers.

Good sized pitch, customer service in reception and bar/ grill was really good. Food was delicious. Great views and a good price. A lovely little gem of a site with good amenities, wifi included all over the site.

Children running riot and being loud in the bar. Would be great to have an adults only area in the bar. Limited fresh water options as most taken by static pitch users.

Everything, Great location between Cheddar and Wells. Good clean site, well stocked shop with very friendly staff. Toilets and showers are clean, tidy and close to the pitches. We didnt use the swimming pool but it looked very clean and tidy. We stayed on a hardstanding pitch, which was a very good size and had hedges either side for privacy. Lovely small site with plenty of facilities and things to do.

We literally booked 3hrs before we arrived and they're were no issues!
Really lovely campsite with welcoming staff. Facilities were very clean.
We didn't eat at the little pub but was nice to drink in and had things inside for free to entertain the kids (perfect in those darker wetter nights)

The pool changing rooms could only fit one family at a time with no lockers or chairs to keep your things safe /dry so had to take EVERYTHING pool side.

Staff were friendly, nice to have a bar/ pool and small shop on site. Some pitches were nicer than others on the site and some looked like they had newly laid gravel.

The facilities were tired, cleaning often wasn't done well, ladies loo sanitary waste wasn't emptied the whole 2 weeks we were on site. Our pitch although was classified as gravel was mostly mud and flooded. We were right under a tree that dropped everything on us and banged on the van at night. We were also right next to the loos which is okay for some but not when you can see straight into the men's loos and hear the hand dryer whenever that went off. (I would like to say we didn't raise these concerns with the site so they didn't get the chance to make it better for us and we could have done that and they likely would have made improvements for us as I say above they were very friendly)

Campsite easy to get to, good facilities, family friendly. In a fabulous location near to Cheddar and Wells! We stayed in a caravan and were pleased with the size of our pitch (electric hard standing). Everyone friendly. Clubhouse served decent food at a decent price and had a lovely vibe. Didn’t make full use of the facilities but I was pleased with the facilities we did use (toilet block, shower nice and hot, clubhouse).

Not quite 5* just as we have stayed at better campsites which offer just that little bit more I.E more space for dog walking, slightly more modern toilet block. I am comparing to other campsites I have stayed at which just tip this one but it is still VERY GOOD and VERY PLEASED.
