Very well kept site, the groundsmen are doing a great job, staff were very helpful. The swimming pool looked very inviting, the clubhouse The Lodge very clean and good food reasonably priced.

Very run down toilet /shower block, a need for a make over.

Missed the entrance as there was a large sign for the lodge and thought that wasn't the site. Very welcoming on arrival with all information to hand.
Well laid out, plenty of space between pitches. Trees and bushes between pitches on the serviced pitches.
Lodge was lovely, nice welcome, good variety of drinks, food was amazing and very nicely priced
Showers and toilets very clean and plenty of loo roll.
Used the pool for a late Sunday afternoon and was very relaxing and pretty quiet.

Noisy dog barking through the night. Is there a boarding kennels nearby?

The restaurant was very busy in the evening and noisy with many children. A note made to maybe book adults only sites!

The site was nicely situated just outside Cheddar. The pitches are a good size and the serviced pitches have good water pressure, grey water drainage and a combination of gravel / grass. They’re fairly level which is always a bonus when trying to level a 7.6 meter long twin wheel caravan. Check in was really easy and we received a warm welcome. We didn’t get chance to try out the on site Bar etc an our trip was a little out of season and we stayed mid week. (It opens on a Friday and Saturday night this time of year)

The main toilet / shower block ( next to reception) is in desperate need of renovation. The Men’s toilets, hand wash basins and showers were kept clean, however the building itself was not of good repair. The floor coverings were splitting and rising damp was noticeable in several areas and the overall decoration was tired.

Nothing, location was convenient.

Filthy unusable laundrette as washing machine and dryer being used to wash dog bedding / blankets, drum and seal thick with dog hair. Smell of dog shit everywhere, and constant barking.

Friendly welcome and easy check-in.
Facilities were good and plenty of showers and hot water.
Level pitch.

Unfortunately, there is a dog kennel nearby and the dogs started barking non-stop at 4am through to 9am on both nights.
Lots of noise from the caravans behind, including driving around the site at 4.30 am and loud setting up at midnight.

Fantastic site with amazing staff, we stayed on a grass campervan pitch,
Visited the bar , lovely food and very helpful staff.
The swimming pool is lovely and warm and very child friendly
