Not much

The log cabin we stayed in was dirty and grubby, old items were left from previous tenants and the curtains and finishings were dirty. Moreover the reception staff were unfriendly also.

We stayed here 3 years ago and stayed again this yesr but sadly this is Not the place for us anymore. Very old and dated facilities. The pool area was atrocious with salty water. Gents changing facilities were compareable too being in an old shed. Never saw a cleaner across the park. The bucklegrove advert that we saw at Wookey hole was a misrepresentation of what the place was actually like. The bar staff asked us to leave 30mins before closeing as "it wasn't cost effective to stay open for 2 people". You couldn't drink next to the pool table in a bar?. Used family room to wash 2 year old and had to pay for hot water. Don't do what we did and bring friends as it was embarrassing. There is a handful of item to buy in the reception and its not a shop as such. Laundry room is 1 washing machine that has never been cleaned, rubber seals caked in grey sludge.

Facilities are a bit tired and outdated.

Pool was very busy for the size of it.

Bar staff a bit unfriendly at the end of the night, just seemed they wanted us to stop buying drinks so they could go home.

Bits of building rubble and broken glass on the animal drove walk.

Dog barking on nearby farm all the way through the night… no over exaggeration.

Good for families, bar on site with reasonable food, play area and pool were well maintained and all the staff very friendly. Good of you’re after somewhere where the kids will stay entertained.

Pitch sizes were decent, all the facilities were clean and functional.

The ground is very hard. Take some strong tent pegs!
Bit noisy at night but did quieten down after 10

My children loved the park and kids bingo!
Campsite very quiet at night time, everyone respected quiet hours.
Had everything that we needed on site, including shop, clean showers etc and bonus point of a swimming pool!

Building works ongoing on site which we weren’t made aware of, the noise started from 7am!

Nice campsite and clean toilets and showers. Good clubhouse with a small swimming pool.

Our pitch was near a road and got a bit busy on some occasions.

Great play to stay, lovely views and just down the road from the caves.
Very clean site, facilities were very clean.
Pub / club house on site serving great food.
Reasonably priced for the quality you were getting.
Some entertainment put on for you.
Friendly staff.
Definitely stay again.

Not a dislike but it would be nice to have a small dog exercise area maybe in the tent field.
Disliked to massive speed bump as you leave though.

Pretty much everything about this site is ideal. Location is brilliant and easily accessible to nearby towns and attractions. Toilets and showers were always clean, the shop offers what you need and is very cheap compared to a lot of others. Nice food in the Lodge and evening entertainment was always good fun and the staff are top notch.
