Great site if you dont go at the weekends its super calm and peacfull , the weekends the site becomes Party time, so if dont like noise dont go at the weekend

We liked the space, the green field in good condition, the rustling trees surrounding us and the small river next to us. Despite the amount of people we thought it was spacious and enough room for all.
We found the owner to be cool, laid back but very helpful. He asked us if we were having a good time. That was appreciated.
The cows were friendly and sociable and it was lovely to see a lemon tree in the restaurant. We felt sorry for a swallow caught in the restaurant awning and hope they invest in a large butterfly net to save these ones caught and unable to figure out how to fly out!
Music was good. Pool small but heated and decor nice, a really nice mix between farm and Ibitha!
Sand is hard to dance on for older feet though! A new experience for us and a very interesting and enjoyable one!

If we were being picky the compost loos were pretty stinky, it was hot and there are only two in one of the fields. It's great to have organic but if people aren't separating their waste it often becomes smelly.
My partner wanted to mention the restaurant staff could have been a little more attentive. We do like that when spending that amount of money.

Quiet spot, well laid out camping area in the orchard with option to choose where to pitch. Restaurant on site but wasn't open and needed to book. Small pool and bar too. 18+ site.

Toilets in the field were just portaloos, which ran low on loo roll and hand sanitiser. Struggled to find where to check in.

Wonderful site, plenty of room, fantastic amenities.

Loved the idea of the pool bar and DJ.
Orchard camping was beautiful
The music from the pool bar is very loud and goes on very late. Did not bother me as I was in a camper but I can imagine it would be difficult in a tent especially if you were not expecting it!

Difficult to find where to check in
Bar staff. It was clear that some of them were already drunk at 8pm and they were smoking and putting makeup on behind the bar. It felt like they were getting ready for a party, it was most odd and uncomfortable.

They have an Ibiza vibe bar which has loud music til early morning. This didn’t disturb us too much. We were criticised by a member of staff due to our taste in music. Facilities not maintained such as no toilet paper and rubbish left

Staff were friendly and the camp itself was lovely they now have a bar pool.. we enjoyed are stay and are coming back in couple weeks and in August.. the owner went out of his way to come to our rescue when we had a flat battery.

Great bar, music and swimming pool ! We had great weather so made it even better. Great restaurant on site but book early.

Very casual check in. Loud music in campsite until 3.30 am !!! Should have been stopped by site owners not other campers.

good facilities especially the “beach” bar area with new addition of a “plunge” pool ,great for cooling down
Quiet on Thursday , dj and music over weekend was lively , camping areas were far enough from it not to be disturbing in the early hrs am

Our only issue was not really enough toilets (portakabin style ) in the orchard and they didn’t appear to be cleaned enough or replenished .
Can’t say regarding The Mead as didn’t use those , showers all good
