Lovely friendly site, clean toilets and showers, laundry and freezer facilities available although we didn’t use them. Nice little pub on site too.
Our hook up wasn’t long enough but they sorted us a extension no bother at all.
Shame we had to come home a night early due to the weather forecast but that was no fault of the site we just made our own judgement for our family. Nice little play area for the children to run around too. Local supermarket 5 minute drive away
We would definitely recommend this site to others and will definitely be returning in the summer.

Peaceful, friendly, super location and a gem of a Beistro/ bar - superb pitch and very friendly, the site was clean and well presented and very tolerant of Dogs - very much a site we will visit again and one we regard as the best Akron’s site we have visited so far !!

Relaxed, clean, easy to find

Beautiful views and good sized pitches.

We arrived on Saturday and in the family toilet there wasn't any toilet roll and the bin was over flowing. When we left 4 days later, there still wasn't any toilet roll and the bin still hadn't been emptied. The water was lukewarm both in the showers and for washing up. The shower blocks were freezing and the showers were dirty, the ladies shower trays were full of hair and just generally unclean. We were especially disappointed with how unclean the facilities were as they stated there was extra cleaning in place due to covid, however they clearly hadn't even been into them as the would have replaced the toilet roll and emptied the bins.
The facilities would have been fine if there was hot water and they were cleaned, at least once a day, but to not be cleaned or when checked in 4 days, of pretty disgusting and disappointing.
