Lovely site, kept well and very clean. Really good bar on site and great staff.

This is really picky but I would have liked to have been able to change the water temperature in the shower as it was too hot for my liking, especially on a very hot weekend. However, the shower facilities were great overall.

Beautiful views from the pod. Great facilties. Great bar with visiting fish and chip van. Clean and warm shower room and toilets. Peaceful. Everyone so friendly.

The site is wonderfully situated, clean and well equipped. The camping pod was warm, comfortable and afforded us great views of the Somerset countryside. Stan was welcoming, and gave us a few fine nuggets of local history that ensured we were looking for Dragon Eggs and musket balls when we went for our walk the following day. Sadly we didn't find a trace of either, but the countryside was beautiful, the weather was very kind. One word of caution... when Stan earns about the nearby walk that includes a rope to assist up or down the slope, he's not exaggerating. But it's easier to go up than down.

Not much privacy and quite a little of dog noise, not just from the site

Really lovely campsite amazing views, really helpful staff. The only thing was the bar wasn’t open as early in season which would have been nice as looked lovely.

Very friendly and helpful people, both the warden and other residents. There seemed to be mainly permanent caravans with just a smaller area for tourers. The weather was against us but in the sunshine the views are lovely. All facilities were clean. Even had a bar. It was quiet when we were there probably because the rain kept people inside. The pitches aren't marked out and as it was fairly empty of tourers, we didn't feel penned in. Somerset very pretty and not too crowded location.

Slight confusion where to get drinking water from. This wasn't explained. Also for us there wasn't much to do/see in the surrounding area. However, if the weather had been better we would have explored more. We were only there 3 nights over bank holiday. Don't know if there is WiFi, this wasn't told to us, but had our own anyway. One night a dog barked for hours on end unchecked. Think it was one of the permanent homes on site. We were inside so not too annoying. Felt more sorry for the dog!

Stan the host was very welcoming and lovely.
The bar on site is a community run bar, we only went in for a couple but it was fun listening to all of the locals. They were all very friendly too.
The site is lovely and clean, as are the showers and toilets.

Nothing, unfortunately we could only stay one night.

Had a very warm welcome from Stan on arrival who pointed out all the facilities. He led me to my pitch which was nice, spacious, and decently level for a grass pitch. I also had the gardener pop over to check I had hooked up to the electric point ok which was nice given it was dark and very cold by that point! I arrived fairly late and left early so didn’t get to explore all the facilities unfortunately. However I did pop into the loos which were spotlessly clean, with hot water, a hairdryer, and what looked like nice showers. I would imagine there’s a stunning view in daylight and if I’d stayed longer I definitely would’ve checked out the gym, bar and laundry room. If I’m in the area again I would return
