Lovely peaceful woodland semi-wild camp.

It was lovely to speak to the hosts, a hard-working husband and wife team. Dear campers, please remember to unplug your electric-hookup lead before leaving! Many thoughtless visitors had failed to remember, causing the hosts repeated work to repair the hookup points.

Amazing camping site, so relaxing. You can nit hear anything but birds, winds and fire cracking… Facilities such as WC, Shower are clean. They provide a fridge and freezer in the kitchen. I enjoyed my 2 nights %100. Certainly will go back.

The site is really wonderful, the woods, the pine trees, the smell, the birds chirping in the morning!
Thre was power and fresh water next to our pitch, shower and toilet in just a short walk away, it was clean.

Amazing place, clean and tidy and very well laid out. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful woodland to explore and dog friendly.

This is a lovely campsite nestled amongst pine trees with a sporadic mix of trees. Very different setup to a normal field with rows of vans and tents. Ashbourne wood is definitely worth a visit. We hired one of the huts which came with electric, double bed/mattress, picnic bench outside with a ring of stones for a fire. We booked this time of year thinking it would be quiet and could do more with our dog without loads of campers distracting her, which it was not many onsite so it suited our needs, I could definitely see the place would be very busy through the summer. Facilities were clean and tidy no many of them so again this could be a concern in the summer..
No issues or concerns during our stay. We will very probably return.
