Nice and clean site. Children loved the park. Shop was okay. Nice little pork/chips hut open on a few of the nights.

Swimming pool is a hit and miss due to only allowing 24 in at time. The pool was out of order the day we was due to go because of the water. The site could have let guests know but instead they waiting untill children were dressed and at the door before knowing we was unable to use it. More signage is needed to find reception. Women on reception need to smile more and be more welcoming. Cost for WiFi is too much. £8 a day!!

Shouldn't put child friendly bin in the play area where food is consumed

Seems like a good idea but the open bin attracts hundreds of wasps.

Bin should be outside the play area and fully sealed.

Could do with a toilet block at the top tent pitch.
Nothing special needed just a toilet as can be a trek if needed at night.

Site was well maintained and clean staff friendly. Burger van was great good value and quality food.

Toilets were quite a long way from the field where our tent was pitched especially with 2 young girls. The pool was closed due to a maintained issue for the duration of our Stay. Which was disappointing as this was the main reason we picked this site as had stayed here before in a pod and girls loved the pool.

The setting and the bell tents looked great inside.

Could do with better quality mattresses, and a small heater. En-suite facilities ,showers quite away away.

The location was nice

Our pod was very very basic. It was right next to the road too our dogs weren’t ever allowed to be without a lead. There was nothing to do on the site and the pool was closed. A kettle in the pod would have been nice for a morning cuppa

We had lovely stay at Ashbourne heights very clean well maintained site. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was lovely and warm and was of benefit as it rained on one our days. So this was great for my granddaughter.
The play area is well located on the site for kid’s access which made it safe. Easy to maintain an eye on them when playing.
Toilet were clean and showers were nice and warm.
The tissington trail is at the back of the site for easy access.
We loved it and will be going back next year.

Everything was nice about the camp site and the facilities.

Only a small issue, but it was hard to get a time slot to use the swimming pool and if it could be open until 5 instead of 4 then would perhaps give more possibility of having a swim.
The price was a bit steep for myself and my son for a non-electric pitch. The pitch could have up to 6 people, but I felt there should be a discount if less people or smaller tent.

The kids park and the pool is decent.

0 (zero) facilities at the non electric pitch. Locker room for the pool is like a scene from a Hackney Wick half way house. Also got told off for having a bbq on at night….
