Really nice site big park for children lots of space if your camping, but not that level has nice shower block very good .

Would of been nice if they had a bar and t.v room or play room especially on days where its wet,and didn't like the the hill where we pitched up me and my partner felt like we unbalanced and items on are table kept sliding off.

The campsite was just what we needed. We camped in the field and the kids loved it. They had so much space.
The staff were friendly and there are on site facilities if needed.

Very clean facilities and all easily accessible. Toilets and showers were newly built and always kept clean, and well lit at night. Park is plenty big enough and loads to do.
Free indoor pool as well!

Easy to sign in and park an extra car.

Tissington Trail and other walks are accessible straight from the site.

A brilliant campsite.

It was a fabulous site, the pool was a winner with the kids and I liked that it's in an ideal spot for the Tissington Trail.
The kids play area was perfect for all ages.

The facilities were great - showers and toilets were fresh and fairly new looking.
The kids park was just across the field so they were able to run across and we could see them from our pitch which was handy.
They had a pool but we didn't utilise that on our stay but instead walked to the Stepping Stones in Dovedale from the site which was great.

On arrival, we were given a pitch with someone already on it - the manager came over within half an hour though and upgraded our pitch to a gravel - so although an initial dislike, the staff were helpful in finding a solution.

The location was great. The site was lovely and clean too. The play area is of a large size meaning out 5 yr old and 3 yr old could still play when older children were there. The van on site was lovely and handy, when the children had finished their swim at 10 am Saturday morning feeling peckish. We were able to have bacon butties without getting out hands dirty :). We booked a glamping pod, to let the children experience something except a hotel, and the site that the stumbled across for a reasonable price was great.

All round happy with our little summer break with our beautiful little family

Shop didn’t have the best food on offer but had the basics

Stayed on the camping field. Short walk to toilets and park. Play area had enough to satisfy our mix ages of children. Plenty to do in the area, short distance to shops and walks such as tissington trail. The pool facilities were a bonus to our stay and were easy to book with access monitored to keep pool at a good capacity. Staff were friendly and approachable. Shop on site prices were reasonable and liked that they had a freezer available to refreeze ice blocks.

Toilet and shower block needs updating and is liable to flooding from shower use so could benefit from more regular inspection and cleaning rota. New block not fully in use yet near to play area.

We came to this site as close to Alton towers we spent 3 nights site was always clean and well maintained.staff all friendly and helpful..pool was warm .
We would come again

Love setting with close proximity to Ashbourne, very welcoming and helpful staff. Will definitely come back.

It of a walk to the toilet/wash up block but that is nit-picking.
