A aimé Location and facilities, especially the cafe and shop.

N'a pas aimé Quite crowded on the camping field as no separate pitches and several large groups were there. Noise until the early hours (talking, laughing rather than music).

A aimé Very clean, great facilities and good dog walking area. The communal areas are a nice touch and the site is very close to the middle of town. Do not let the unusual road approach put you off, just have confidence in the directions.

A aimé Excellent value Very clean and well maintained facilities. Bar on site. Friendly and accommodating staff 2 minute walk to the city centre but in a reasonably quiet riverside location.

N'a pas aimé There's really nothing to dislike about this site. Even a children's Halloween party in the club early in the evening had zero effect on the campers.

A aimé The location, atmosphere and the people running the site. This looks like a site people return to once they discover it. There are plenty of firepits, good water access and a lovely river. Above all else the people running the site are lovely and went above and beyond to help us with a problem with our van. My little boy has made us promise to return.
