N'a pas aimé We arrived a little early, was dismissed with no advice where we could park up. Found a lay-by opposite the site, went walking, on return found our booking had been cancelled! Went on to Horton in Ribblesdale made very welcome. Haven’t received a refund!

Réponse du gestionnaire : Now let’s have a more truthful version of events shall we…..! Booking terms: arrivals from 1.30pm NOT as in your case, 2 hours earlier….. Then when you are politely informed that this two hours prior to arrivals is being spent mowing grass and strimming around ALL pitches to ensure we have the site looking as best as possible and that to avoid any risk of damage being caused on such a small site as we have, there is nowhere to actually park a large motorhome… Your booking was not cancelled…rather, after our closing time for arrivals, you were noted as a no show….(have now concluded you flounced off in a fit of pique 🤔) Anyone reading our reviews will see I’m generally quite an amenable chap with a “no nonsense” attitude who doesn’t respond well to entitled and pushy demands for 2 hour early access, followed by keyboard warrior misleading nonsense revenge reviews! What your review will do is demonstrate to guests we operate a pretty fair and well run tiny site to ensure that stays are always as enjoyable as possible. The ever grumpy site manager..
