A aimé Beautiful views , immaculate facilities , very friendly helpful owner , great dog walking field , short walk to town

A aimé Everything - it’s the most beautiful peaceful setting and the owner is super friendly and helpful -the site is well planned with some water points close enough to serve water direct to motorhome through a hose. The walk into town is approx 20mins along a pretty canal -100% we will return next year

A aimé Location -stunning views from and around site. Beautiful off lead dog walks in both directions one to local village with good selection of pubs and a few good shops, the other to a stunning lake perfect for wild swimming kayaking etc

N'a pas aimé Shower and loos quite dated and a lot of dead flying wildlife -needs a re vamp however they were always cleaned daily

A aimé Owners Jenny and David lovely people , field for dog walking really nice with a stream -spotted deer and red squirrels -great short cut to local pub

N'a pas aimé The Elson point is accessed via a dark slippy path -more lighting needed and the floor needs making safer. More info on how to reach the local pub on foot provided in reception and it made clear it’s only open Wednesday-Sunday and for very limited hours

A aimé Free washing machine ! Absolute godsend in wet weather Very relaxed easy going owners , chilled friendly site No idea why people moan about ‘not enough showers ‘ - we stayed when the site was at full capacity and 6of is never waited more than a few minutes to access one of the two showers so as long as campers are sensible there’s no problem - and they were ALWAYS spotless as the owners leave a mop and bucket to clean up after yourself -the porta loos were apparently awful - so I didn’t use them 🤷‍♀️ -simple solution

N'a pas aimé Owners dogs barking was annoying at times but they were only left out for a few minutes at a time so fair play the owners tried to minimise it

A aimé The views were stunning Privacy on site as it’s a small holding -dog allowed to run free by very friendly owner as we were only ones on site The local walks were lovely and really interesting local village Nice 1 mile pub -lovely staff

N'a pas aimé Owner needs to put up a sign saying site where you want as his dog is unfriendly if you approach the farm house Facilities are very basic -no shower and only 1 water pipe in field But that’s part of the charm ? This is a work in progress and the owner is trying hard to make it a success - the developing bits are worth it for the views and the atmosphere

A aimé Everything ! Beautiful peaceful site with views over to Glastonbury Tor. Owners were very decent people -very friendly and helpful. Fantastic riverside pub ‘The Sheppey’ within walking distance with great selection of beers and gorgeous food -Toilets & showers clean and lots of hot water
