A aimé Pleasant location, relaxed atmosphere but......

N'a pas aimé The showers didn't work when I arrived - and the heatwave was in full flow. The showers didn't work in the afternoon and the water in the sinks were intermittent. The showers didn't work on the following morning. The showers didn't work several hours later in the afternoon so I vacated the site and headed home for a shower before my second night and requested twice a partial refund accordingly. My specific request was not responded to and when I contacted them this morning about the partial refund I was advised, amusingly from my perspective, that my behaviour would be reported to Pitchup (who I had already had contacted regarding the situation). I booked a site for 48 hours and the showers (included in the site facilties decscription) never worked for me in four different visits to the shower block and during a heatwave. I left the site early as a result and the site is complaining about my requesting a refund. You couldn't make it up!

A aimé What can I say other than it's the best value-for-money campsite I have ever visited? I have now stayed there three or four times and will stay there again. The entry gate works using camera-recognition of one's number plate and the toilet/shower facilities are excellent, as is the location. Oh, and it's very resonably priced indeed! Top marks all round!
