The toilets and showers were always spotless. The dog wash was great after muddy walks. The lift into Newquay by the owners was much appreciated

VIP pitches could be better placed, very noisy from road traffic

Very pleasant welcome and a well presented site. It was clear on arrival that the owners had put a lot of effort into refurbishing the site.

Beautiful well maintained, tidy and clean site. The shower/toilet block was spacious and clean. Bar area very smart and a few cocktails available too! Staff very friendly and helpful. Wifi good. 10mins walk to beach and further 25mins along beach to New Quay at low tide. Lovely beaches along the west coast of Wales to visit too. Lovely site to stay at.

Not a dislike but the pitch area could have done with being slightly bigger or level with the glass. We couldn’t fit on the gravel with our camper and awning so the awning had to go over both gravel and grass which wasn’t a problem apart from the ridge it created down the middle of our awning which caused a slight trip hazard for our toddler. Would have been easier if we could have parked right up against the grass and put the awning on the grass only.

The site is just lovely . It is immaculately kept , the toilets and showers are spotless . There is a shop but we didn’t use this . The Cart Cwrw was a lovely facility to sit with our friends for an evening drink. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful .

Closeness to the beach

The only tiny criticism is if you want a fully serviced plot it’s not available but water and waste very close by as its small site.

Easy to navigate layout, and pitches were a generous size. Communication and information before arriving was brilliant and included a map of the site and directions in case we got lost. Shop on site for basics and provided information on tide times and directions to beaches. VIP pitch we stayed on was a little larger than the basic pitches included water, electric and super fast Wi-Fi which we had no problems with connection. Toilet blocks were immaculately clean and included shower cubicles and hairdryers. There was a separate block with a dog shower/dryer which included shampoo and an apron. There was also a small bar on site open for a few hours each night with a good selection of drinks and some bar snacks which were very reasonably priced. There was a small gazebo with heaters to enjoy the drinks next to the bar or you could take these back to your pitch. The small park for children was in the middle of the camp and was easily viewable from all around so great location to keep an eye on the kids. Couldn’t fault anything over the week and will definitely be staying again.

Spotless campsite with excellent facilities and a lovely walk to a nearby beach and into the pretty New Quay at low tide. Very dog friendly with an excellent dog wash room with a dryer. Will definitely return.
