Location in park was perfect for us, near all facilities, small shop and the bar! Showers/toilets were modern and immaculately clean. Loved the addition of the radio station playing 24 hours a day (in the shower/toilet block). Dog shower was an added bonus especially after a day at the beach (which is dog friendly). Free wifi is available on site. Walking distance to local, beautiful beaches, about 20 minutes when you’re strolling through the lanes - saw two cars during the whole journey so suitable and safe. Newquay wasn’t that far to walk but get this, park staff offer a taxi service back and forth the town, for a small donation, £1 per person. All donations go towards the defibrillator on site. Staff were friendly and informative, they really work so hard to keep the park clean and presentable. What a fantastic family run business who really put the customer first. Thank for an amazing few days.

My family and I stayed here for 1 night during our road trip around Wales and we wished we could have stayed longer!We arrived after a full day in New Quay, the site was only a 7 min drive.
On arrival we were greeted with the most friendly and helpful lady (I don’t remember her name but she runs the site alongside her brother).
The site was IMMACULATE! The shower/ toilet facilities were 10/10!
Our pitch was perfect for us, right by the toilets and by the park. There were many children on site so our kids had the best time off playing with them and we felt it was safe and secure.
The on-site shop had all the basics you could need and at such reasonable prises… other sites were very expensive.
10/10 from our family! Would 100% stay again

Thanks for your review. We are very disappointed to read this review and felt the need to reply/respond immediately.
You made contact with us prior to your arrival requesting a pitch away from the play area with only one hour notice (although a pitch number and a map of the park is emailed to you a week in advance). As you can appreciate this left us with very little time to accommodate you. However, every effort was made in that short period to move your pitch and as I'm sure you'll remember you were offered a different pitch when you arrived. You inspected the pitch area and it's surroundings and decided to remain on the allocated pitch. Not at any point during your stay do you make contact with us to move pitch. This is something we would have acted upon immediately as other pitches were available the following day.
You chose to visit the park during School holidays and unfortunately is it very difficult for us to police the behavior of all children throughout the day and especially during the night. We have an out of hours number (which is on your welcome email) that you could have phoned and we would have acted on this immediately. It is very difficult (as I'm sure you can appreciate) to find a balance in allowing the kids to enjoy and to ensure the enjoyment of others. Perhaps a conversation with the parents would have been beneficial.
In regards to guests walking across your pitch - we will certainly take this onboard. We don't recall this being raised in any previous reviews, however we will look into this and make changes if required.
As mentioned above, we are very disappointed to read this review especially considering the positive reviews we have received to date (average 9.7/10 from over 400 reviews). However, negative reviews such as this will 'bug' us and we will do our best to stop issues such as this arising in the future.
As an end note.......we just wish you would have spoken to us and this could have all been sorted.
