It was a lovely peaceful site, the showers were hot & extremely clean, would highly recommend staying there

Small no fuss site, ideal for a short break. Toilets and showers were exceptionally clean.
Staff were friendly and welcoming.
Will stay here again.

Nice quiet, small site. Able to walk along lanes to a pub & to Cheddar, although Cheddar is about 3-4 miles through the lanes.

Lovely, small, quiet campsite. Very clean toilet and showers. Great location for exploring Cheddar and Wells.

Due to it being a small campsite there is only one washing up sink but that wasn’t a problem. Just be aware you need 20p pieces for the shower - which can be hard to come by these days!

Good hard standing pitch!

Having to arrive before 6pm but not being made aware at time of booking then being reminded several times via email on the day.

Owner Tom was quite grumpy to begin with as we arrived later than the not stipulated time of 6 pm. We arrived at 6.18 and were told that we were too late. He did however come back to site and let us in. Once he arrived he wasn't as grumpy as he was on the phone.

Also worth noting the Rodney Stoke Pub isn't trading and is closed.

We love Rodney Stoke. Peaceful, relaxed site. Tom and his staff keep it looking lovely and the facilities are spotless. Thanks again for another lovely break

Location was fantastic. Site toilets/washing up was extremely clean, but..... the signage with all the rules was a little off putting. The pub at the front is still closed which is a shame, but another local pub, The Strawberry Special, 20 minute walk through a back lane was very friendly. We also visited The Cider Barn pub which have a lot of local ciders available.

The other twatty campers who allowed their dogs to bark continuously !
The actual site could have done with a bit of weeding, tidying up etc, but otherwise it was ok. We just thought it was a little costly. BUT, we can not fault how clean the toilets/showers/washing up facilities were.

Relax atmosphere, easy access to good walks

Toilets shut overnight . Planters dead. Either use or remove

Absolutely disgusted when you pay £70 for a two night stay I expectations are higher than a badly maintained site and expect an experience member of staff not one who is not around and to be told if you want bus timetables to go on the Internet.
Badly maintained pitches with brambles over grown catching you when near dividing hedges.
Access to the site is through a gateway badly maintained and with a combination lock mechanism.
Staff there being only one not helpful at all.
Booked 2 nights only stayed the one will be not returning there totally a two star campsite.
