This was a lovely quite, clean, friendly site. The pitches were a great size, level and well kept. The shower and toilet block was immaculate. When the pub connected opens this will be fantastic

Only small negative is no WiFi and poor area for signal.

Lots of rules and reminder notices scattered throughout.

Although there is no business link between the camp site and the Rodney Stoke Inn, it very rarely seems to be open and appears a little derelict. Spoke to lots of other campers on site and all dissapointed regards pub.

Lovely peaceful site. Adults only. Facilities are very clean. Site manager very helpful.
Great value for money, definitely stay there again.
Bus to Wells or Cheddar not far from site.
Nice walks to Cider Barn & Strawberry Line Inn & Cheddar

Clean and tidy with modern shower facilities at a cost, quiet location, mainly level pitches. Good bus services to both Wells & Cheddar.

You are advised of no arrivals after 6pm and Eta requested to streamline arrival process for site manager. No local pubs with food. Rodney Stoke Inn closed, Strawberry Special Inn doesn't do food, Cider Barn has limited internal tables, with quite loud music limiting conversation.
Showers are 50p per 10min. Tokens only no cash alternative, after 6pm. The Rules list is extensive with a passive aggressive overtone, advising there would be limited room for transgression leading to immediate expulsion from site without refund. Plenty of suggestions regarding recycling with no actual recycling bins signposted. 3 general waste bins in obvious location.

The site was good. Ideally located for visits to Cheddar and Wells, by bus.
A great grocery store within easy walking distance and a bar serving food and drink about a mile away.
It was lovely and quiet, with lots of quiet lanes to walk the dogs.
The shower and toilet facilities were spotless.
I particularly enjoyed watching the bats swooping around at dusk.

No dislikes, just observations.
The pub was closed, and looks unlikely to open anytime soon. This was one of the main reasons we booked this site. May I suggest you keep people who've booked updated on it's status?
As I said, the showers were spotless, but the water was scolding hot and can't be adjusted. Any chance the temperature could be turned down in high summer?

We liked that this was a small site for adults only . We found that we where situated with in easy reach of some lovely scenery and views . Shame the public house was closed as we’d envisaged a drink and food with out driving .

If there’s anything to dislike it’s that the situation of the site does mean that there’s a strong wind that sweeps down the valley . But that’s nothing to do with the way the site is ran just an observation.
