- The floor tiles in the bathroom are smooth with no grip/ texture, so are a major slip/ health and safety nightmare when it's raining. I saw at least 3 people stumble/ slip on the wet slippery floor.
- The showers are paid (we were expecting this) but the pay point is outside of the shower cubicle, meaning you have to pay outside (£1 for 10 minutes) and the time starts counting down before you can go into the cubicle and take your clothes off OR you have to take clothes off then go outside in your towel to pay! The countdown timer is also displayed outside the shower cubicle so you have no idea how long you have left and it doesn't give a sound/ warning that your time is nearly out. Not good.
- The tumble drier was broken when we were there and we needed to do washing but couldn't ( it was raining so we couldn't dry anything without use of the drier).
- The light in the washing up room is automatically activated but only activates when it is pitch dark. At dusk (when you need a light on) it won't work, so the choice is either to wash up in the near dark or to shut the door to the washing up room (a room with no windows) to make the light come on.
- There is no shop, no local tourist advice, maps, leaflets, play equipment for children or anything and although not a bad site it is seriously over priced for what it provides in comparison to all the other campsites we have stayed at this summer that offer so much more for the same price.

Thank you for taking time to leave a review, I have to say we have never before received a complaint regarding the size of the cubicles, with regards to the floor tiles being slippy, again no incidents were reported to us.
All electrical items have to be outside the shower cubicles, this is standard H&S
The tumble dryer is relatively new, unfortunately recently someone broke the door catch so we had to order a replacement, (not sure if this was during your stay as you are anonymous).
The washing-up room is a free facility that is usually closed by 6.30 pm, the site warden allows it to stay open longer to help people, when the door is open this time of the year we find there is adequate light to allow anyone to wash up, again we have never had a comment like this previously.
There is no shop however there is one in appox 2minutes walk from the site.
Every guest is handed a welcome pack with leaflets, there is also a desk full of them in the reception area.
No, we don't have play areas for children, again as per the website and all booking platforms you can see we are a very small quiet relaxing site, nowhere do we advise we have play equipment for children or shops on site.
