The site was about a 25 min walk into Penzance which worked well for us.
The facilities were relatively modern and clean. However, there is only one washing up sink for the entire campsite and only one male and one female shower. The male shower was always available when I wanted it but my wife had several waits. The limited shower facilities is probably the reason that the showers cost £1 ( card) a go and are on a 10 min timer which I thought was a good idea to encourage people to be quick.
N'a pas aimé : Our pitch was nice right next to a clear small stream which was lovely to go to sleep to with it gurgling in the background. However, the only thing I disliked was it was right next to what I think was the septic tank which you could smell when you walked passed it. My personal view is that pitch should not be offered for sale as if the wind was in the right direction you could smell it in the tent. The site was full otherwise we would have asked to be moved.
