Very nice site in a very peaceful location with clean facilities. Just right for a relaxing break. Good location for Alton Towers or to just explore the area. The owner was super helpful and very welcoming, would definitely recommend

Lovely staff (2 people) would see them in the morning and have a lovely chat and they’d answer any queries anyone had.
The actual grounds is beautiful, facilities are well looked after and you can even play football on the grounds. Very close to Alton Towers to.

Has a separate company (food truck) but they didn’t turn up which was disappointing.
Could do with more plugs in the bathroom

A great back to basics campsite, clean, excellent facilities and exceptional good value, wouldn't hesitate to stay again. The owners were very friendly and knowledgeable.

The grass pitch was well cared for, the toilet and shower block were clean and had a lovely addition of music pumped through them. The owners, Lorraine and Brian were really helpful and knowledgeable. They gave us the most lovely map. And brought us a fire pit and wood for the evening. There was a fire pit circle and a bench with a handy metal plate for cooking on. Pitches were level and there was a wall with lovely scenery.

The site is perfectly located for Alton towers, has clean facilities and is big enough that our pitch felt private. For the price it is good value for money

Both nights we were there there was a large group playing extremely loud music until quite late. The first night they carried on until about 3am and nothing was done to stop them. The second night at least the owner did stop them at 10.30pm. Obviously better but still not ideal when small children are trying to sleep

Great space and land to camp on. Amenities really clean and good quality. Amazing value for money. Quality firepit to use as well.

Stayed for a couple of nights in my camper whilst visiting Alton towers which is 10 minutes down the road. Welcomed by the owners on arrival. Given a map of local area which was handy. Shower and toilet block was kept clean. Very family friendly with football goals and plenty of space for kids to play. Very reasonable priced compared to what some sites are charging now.

Great site with lovely views. Showers and toilets were clean and spacious with free USB ports for charging devices. My 5 year old liked the music that played in the toilet/shower block too. We had campfires both nights in the stone circles which we all enjoyed, despite the drizzle! Owners were very helpful, they don’t live on site but always on the phone if you needed anything and popped onto site daily. Picked this site as it was close to Alton Towers and we had booked to go there but we would definitely return to do some of the local walks and visit Dovedale, Ashbourne etc..
