It looks like there have been some misunderstandings here - young couples are of course very welcome and hopefully readers can see that from other reviews. The dog in fact got loose and got to a family pitch with food and young children around, so I asked that the dog be controlled and I offered to lend a rope if needed. Running a dog friendly site safely does depend on owners looking after their dogs properly and thankfully most do. People are on holiday here catching up with friends and family, so there will be some noise and chat during the evening, we do keep an eye on it and intervene if we think anything is over the top. Do come and see us if any other pitch is causing a nuisance. Finally we hire a firepit with a large bag of well seasoned logs for £10. You will most likely need some kindling to start the logs burning, which we also sell and we are always happy to come and help anyone with starting their fire if they haven’t much experience.
