2nd visit here, 1st visit brilliant so came back, clean site, friendly staff, very spacious showers, close to locally town, great walks,

Great well kept site with good facilities. The engine shed is a great addition for the site.

I loved everything about Pennine View Caravan Park. I was a single female camper and booked a tent pitch with electric hookup for 7 nights. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The showers were the best I have ever experienced and other campers frequently echoed this, saying they were better than most hotels. For once I didn't have to shower with my spine pressed against the button! There was no limit to the time allowed and the water was piping hot with good pressure. The hairdryers were great too! The best thing for me was the cabin with electric kettle, toaster, table & chairs and kitchen utensils. It made it quick and easy to make a cup of tea and piece of toast without having to stand out in the rain over the camping stove. It was also a lovely community area where people came and went and were always happy to have a chat and share stories. Everyone was extremely friendly. The location was also great. There are waterfalls right next door and a circular viaduct walk. The Yorkshire Dales are a couple of mins drive up the road and Windermere is about 45 mins away. The scenery surrounding the site is stunning and there is a steam museum opposite. You can also get on the Carlisle to Settle railway line at Kirby Stephen Station, a lovely relaxing way to spend a day. All in all I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!!

Nothing not to like!

The camp is beautiful and in a great location. Well maintained and the shed bar on site is fantastic.

My only slight criticism I would have is more control on noise on a night would be great ie so noise checks from management as we were near a few people camped with dogs and the barking all night was relentless. If someone was on site to have a word with later it would help. But not a deal breaker at all.

Everything, great site with top class facilities and walks from the back of the site. Engine Shed pub was fantastic.

Lovely well maintained site with friendly, helpful staff.
All the washrooms and facilities spotless and look as if just installed/ refurbed.
Would definitely recommend.

Excellent level pitch great size and nice grass. Facilities all good especially showers great pressure and no timers. There is a bar and small food area called The Engine Shed which is very roomy nice bar and different food menus on during week open from 4-10 pm. Decent walks around from the site and not a bad little town with plenty of cafes and restaurants and bars.
