Everything about this site friendly staff as we arrived at reception where she gave us a map level spacious pitch not far from showers and the bar called the Engine Room which has a nice out door seating area and the England match was on really good atmosphere also there a great dog walk near a river we would definitely return next year 😀

Nothing to dislike only thing I couldn't get the free WiFi to work

Easy check in, clean toilets/ showers, good access to water and kitchen area. Small play area and site was peaceful.

Camp site is within residential area, over looked by houses. Nursery for children at the entrance. Play area could be bigger and accommodate smaller children. Shop could offer more items to purchase.

Lovely secure campsite, toilets and showers clean and accessible, family toilet/shower was great, campers had a kitchen full with everything you need - no need to pack loads! Laundry room cheap too! Good park, would suit older children better, food very good from the onsite catering which alternates each night, very friendly

Not so much a dislike just that the slide has such big gaps between the steps to get up it was quite difficult with two 2 year olds

Really chilled atmosphere and friendly, welcoming staff. The pitch was excellent, and close to a lovely onsite pub/restaurant with excellent range of beers and daily rotating food providers serving great food. The showers and toilets were very clean, modern, and private. And the local area - with stunning rock pools in the river - was beautiful and just a 5 minute walk from the camp site. I can’t fault this place.

We received a warm welcome upon arrival. The staff at reception were very friendly.
Excellent facilities - particularly the larger shower blocks which were always clean and well maintained. Campers kitchen was very handy. A fridge would have been a welcome addition but I recognise that for a site of this size it might have been impractical.
Nice little playground for the children.
Having the River Eden and Stenkrith Park immediately at the bottom of the park was the cherry on the cake. Thrilled to see 2 red squirrels down there on our first night and our boys loved seeing your resident rabbits dotted around the campsite every evening.
Regrettably we were so busy exploring that we didn't get a chance to check out The Engine Shed, that'll be something for next time!

Came here on a recommendation was definitely not disappointing what a gem we were on the camping side amazing views fantastic facilities which include laundry room welly or boot wash even have washing for your washing shower facilities were spotless. They have a restaurant and bar on site The Engine Shed different foods on different nights . Just amazing

Lovely well laid out and very neat and tidy campsite. Very friendly and informative host. On site facilities were very good and spotlessly clean. Great location. On site bar and restaurant. Great Wi-Fi and phone reception. Great location next to a town with all you could need supplied in it

Great campsite with a little play area for the kids. A shop with a few essentials but not big.
As a on site bar which is really nice which dose different foods.
Clean facilities with hot showers
Camping kitchen with a hob kettle and toaster.

Opening times for the pub could be better and also the kitchen.
