The open space was ideal for young children to run around without fear of cars being around and also where it is not overcrowded it was quiet and peaceful. The facilities were very clean and the reception provided the essentials to have an amazing fire with marshmallows. The host couldn’t be any more helpful. I would strongly recommend and look forward to going back.

Beautiful site in a central location. Richard the owner was extremely helpful and friendly. Hot showers, flushing toilets, honesty shop undercover washing up area.

Nothing we had a lovely holiday despite the corniche weather..

The gentleman that greeted us on arrival was very informative and welcoming. He was lovely and often spotted around camp at all hours if we had any issues.

The honesty shop was a great addition to the camp, including everything you may have forgotten or needed, at a decent price. This was also always kept stocked.

The fire pits on site were great, not far from our pitch with fire safety protocols around site if ever needed.

The showers and toilets were kept clean, often saw the owner on site cleaning and checking facilities.

The best part of the camp site, in our opinion, was the location. Being very central, anywhere we were wanting to visit was around an hour max drive away. Perfect for those wanting to travel Cornwall.

Our pitch was very level and spacious, however all pitches were very close to your neighbouring camper. This site being small, this is understandable, and we know this cannot be changed. But those without kids or like an early night, just a heads up as you can hear everything your neighbours say and do (including loud snorers all night aha).

My first time camping, and what a perfect site to start.
Lovely site, with a brilliant owner who is so helpful.

The campsite is not over crowded, there is lots of empty space for playing games etc.
Richard was onsite every morning and throughout the day making sure the site was clean and tidy. The showers and toilets were always clean!

Location is amazing, so many lovely places to visit within a short drive.

I would suggest couple more toilets, but this isn't a negative!

The site was perfect for us & exceeded expectations for our basic needs. Large level pitches, organised one way system, lights on the outside of the toilets and shower to show when occupied. Exceptionally clean for a camp site, great water pressure and plenty hot water. Drinking water stations all over, slabs for bbq’s, honesty station for essentials in case you have forgotten them. Electric pitches also. Richard was really welcoming and super organised with little arrival packs. He is always on hand if you need anything and always cleaning up and checking everything is ok. Dogs welcome but must be kept on leads or tethered but there is a seperate field with paths mowed out for walking and off lead run. He’s thought of everything! We used the site for 5 nights as a central base to explore Cornwall and we covered a lot of ground in that time. Would 100 percent recommend and use this site again.

An ideal base and brilliant site with good sized pitches -
Clean toilets, hot showers, brilliant washing up facilities. Access to a fridge and freezer if needed and a small shop too. Richard is very helpful and goes out of his way to make sure everything is ok.

We liked everything. The owner was very welcoming and made sure we knew all the rules and all the perks the site has.
Good and clean facilities, hot water, fridge and freezer that was quite good to keep our dairy with this hot weather.
Soft ground, so it was easy to put the tent up. Large pitches.
All that you need and even more you have it there.
the location is great because you can drive anywhere from there.
Overall great site, we are planning to go back next year and stay longer.
