Small and quiet hidden gem. Owners lovely, clean shower and toilet blocks. Great size pitches, Great location for exploring southern Cornwall.

A peaceful well maintained and friendly site. The main contact Richard is polite and is eager to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Facilities are clean and tidy too.

I loved staying at this campsite, and the mission behind it. Friendly, clean and well organised with amenities such as fridge and freezer which was appreciated.

Only thing was a funny smell in the fridge/freezer room but that didn't worry me too much.
There is not much phone signal- that was not a problem for me, and I enjoyed a break from the internet, but may be a problem if you need it!

Richard is a fantastic host who looks and maintains the campsite to a high standard. The campsite has a very nice vibe to it. Toilets were clean, the area is spacious for our boys to play football and water points and facilities are all easily accessible. Showers were nice and hot and there even spaces in the fridge and freezers. There was a hot water kettle we could use as well including charging area for devices. We found the area to be close to anywhere in Cornwall.

For undemanding campers, it is the best campsite in the area. If you are looking for a night's peace and quiet sleep, then this campsite is the right place. After 10 pm, you can really only hear owls at this campsite 🙂 Excellent for families with small children and tourists who are looking for a night's peace after a busy day. And the owner of the campsite also has a lot of deserving for this, who strictly monitors it, for which I am very grateful to him 👍. In addition, there are excellent, always clean toilets and showers with always hot water. And an excellent area for washing dishes (under the roof, in case of bad weather). And there is also a small shed with a fridge and freezer, for those who camp without electricity. I have been here 3 times and I will come here again. Thank you.

3rd time here and just as good as first 2 times, will be back again. Atmosphere is brilliant owner Richard absolutely spot on anything you need he will be there to help.

Lovely re-wilding campsite

Everything was absolutely wonderful. We stayed for a quick 1 night stop and it was by far one of our fav campsites! Clean facilities, a little shop with all the essentials plus ice cream and marshmallows. Richard is incredibly welcoming and helpful.

Nothing.

Such a lovely quiet campsite. Spacious pitches, lots of areas to play football etc. The little shop with honestly box was fab - perfect for grabbing marshmallows etc if you'd forgotten. Great location.

Nothing to dislike. Could probably benefit from a couple of outside sinks with mirrors to save using a toilet when brushing teeth etc. And the phone signal was pretty shocking but can't be helped.

Host really helpful and couldn't do enough to help.

Swap "shop" where guests leave stuff and you can help yourself. Love this idea. 😀
