The beautiful scenery and widely spaced pitches. The lack of bossy signage and a friendly owner made it a welcome change. The loos and showers were clean and efficient

That we only stayed two nights

Loved the views and quietness. Very peaceful there with loads of space between pitches. Appreciated having a fridge and freezer and phone charging point. Owners were really friendly. Also really appreciated the flexibility of not needing to pay until we arrived

There aren't many facilities, 3 toilets in total and 2 showers which wasn't an issue as it was so quiet.

What a lovely stay! So peaceful, gorgeous view and really clean toilets and shower. It was our first ever camping trip and we're off to a great start!

Penn Farm Campsite is great. It is simple, which is to it's benefit, well kept, well organised and just super easy. We had an incredibly relaxing stay from Friday to Monday and don't have a bad word to say about it. The grass was well kept, and although both fields on a slope, there are plenty of space to choose from depending on your needs. We really enjoyed the relaxed feel of the campsite, we were instructed to 'find a space at least x metres away from others and pitch up'. There were no electric pitches but again, this added to the ease and simplicity. My partner and I chose to have a digital detox weekend and this was the perfect spot.

The views from the campsite were beautiful and the whole feel of the place was very relaxed. Other campers came and went, and were all quiet and respectful of others. The toilet/shower facilities were very clean and comfortable. To my delight, the shower had adjustable temperature! I can't remember the last time I went to a campsite and had a shower with adjustable temperature. This made the whole stay even better for me.

The campsite is conveniently located and well connected, a short drive to a big supermarket and the beach, with plenty of things in the surrounding area to do.

Overall, we loved our stay and will be returning. Had a great time.
