A lovely setting occasionally enlivened by the Heart of Wales line running through it. A peaceful walk into town (crossing the England/Wales border) aloneside the river. Good on-site coffee and snacks from 9-5 ( very good sausage!). Facilities in good order

Lovely campsite with beautiful surroundings. The riverside walk into Knighton was great and the town is really nice. At the campsite they have a notice board detailing local amenities and walks in the area. We did one of the walks which we enjoyed. We didn’t have anything from the food van but prices were reasonable

Only a little niggle but could do with more toilets and showers. I waited in line for 15 minutes for a shower one morning.

The café was fantastic — delicious, affordable food and really great coffee. Highly recommend it!

I was surprised to see a daily charge for the fire pit, which I felt was unreasonable. I have three fire pits at home and would have brought one along had I known there would be an extra fee. Having a fire is such an essential part of the camping experience — it really shouldn’t come at an additional cost. I’d have no issue paying for wood, but I believe the fire pit itself should be included.

Greeting us as soon as we arrived on site. Clean toilets and 3 showers, with hot water, are well appreciated. Free to take your green pitch wherever you like. Lot of details added to the communal area: fridge , kettle, sink for washing up, local info. Lit a fire is possible, or rent à bike!

Easy 20minute walk into Knighton directly from the site and other trails close by.

Such a great campsite. It is in beautiful countryside and we were right next to the river, allowing for all day long paddling.

The campsite facilities were clean, unfussy and all you needed. The addition of kettles and a fridge and freezer were a really nice touch.

Lovely location, very convenient for a pleasant stroll into town. Shower and toilet facilities to a good standard and very handy to have a communal fridge. Also, the addition of the Offa’s Treat van with its tea/coffee, ice-cream and panini on site was very handy.
