Nice open field, our grandchildren made friends as soon as they arrived, so this made their holiday. Friendly staff ! They enjoyed the rope swing, were great to get to know other children, the hammocks were too low to use.

Unfortunately they couldn’t launch the kayak as told the river was blocked further down, ! Showers were open air, not very private

There was a small amount of noise early in the mornings from the station and industrial estate, so not totally silent. But so what! +ives massively outweigh any -ives.

I thought we’d be able to wild swim (could be my error) but no easy points in to the river

Really liked this place. Quiet and pretty with decent facilities. Neil is kind generous and a very helpful host. Will definitely recommend and will definitely be staying here again.

Disliked having to pack up and go home!

We stayed here with friends and our young children (10,9,7 and 4). We arrived and were greeted by the wonderful owner, who throughout our 3 night stay was incredibly attentive.
He comes round with logs and kindling for sale each evening and fire pits to rent. Take cash because the card machine is unpredictable (we apparently had good signal at our pitch and it worked fine).
He came round with free ice pops for the children (and adults) in the afternoon, which a lovely treat having been running round all morning with the children.
If there was an issue, his number was dotted around the campsite to call him and he would be there to help.

There are washing up bowls to borrow along with sponges to use for your stay. You then leave them in your pitch when you are leaving and they get collected, great touch.

Facilities were great. Cleaned everyday so smelt amazing around 1pm. Ladies had 5 flushing toilets, several sinks and I think the men's had one less toilet but several urinals. Showers were hot and glorious after running round in the sun all day.

Badminton nets, rackets and shuttlecocks on site to use. Along with table tennis also. In one of the other fields there was rope swings and hammocks.

We loved it so much we decided to stay on for an extra night which was easily done, and we can't wait to come back.

Great staff, location and facilities.

Parents not respecting camp rules regarding noise with their children. Children also using water taps/ shower facilities for water fights - wasteful and disruptive.

Amazing place, we will definitely be going back. The outdoor shower was lush and facilities met the needs we had. There is so much for children to do, two rope swings, table tennis, badminton, swing ball and football table. The scenery was beautiful. Our children are 6-8-10-12 and all of them loved it.
