Lovely campsite. Really beautiful and very spacious pitches with everything you could need. Great open air showers and clean toilets. Lovely host who also came round with logs to buy. Great extra with a coffee hut and bar on the weekends.

Good meadow with beautiful views over fields, clean toilets and warm water showers . Friendly owner popped into our field with logs and help if needed.

Nothing to dislike

We liked the camp site, lots of space, the kids loved the wooded area where they could run around and climb tree's go on rope swings and lay on the hammock, the showers were alright outside.

There was no Internet connection, only at certain area's of the meadow,

Was a lovely site! Fantastic areas to pitch up. The toilets and showers were always clean and the showers were lovely and hot.
The owner was very helpful. We enjoyed the tea cabin/bar and the pizza van was a great addition too.

Theres no bins so you have to get rid of the rubbish yourself and we had a few people so was quiet a bit of rubbish to try and get rid off

Beautiful campsite, the showers were lovely! Toilets were clean and smelled good. Washing up facilities were provided which was helpful as I forgot my bucket.

I stayed here as a solo female on my first ever solo camping trip and I felt completely safe the entire time I was there.

The location was stunning, extremely quiet, incredible views of the stars and so many walks right from the campsite. I saw deer from my tent every single day and I loved watching the fawns play in the field. I also saw birds of prey, so many butterflies, dragonflies and damselflies. I even saw some fish in the river!

Owner was friendly and helpful and if you're buying logs from the campsite you get LOADS for your money.

Found a hammock set up in the trees so I went and lounged in there for a little while and read a book.

So peaceful, so beautiful. Will definitely be going again next year!

Nice site, friendly and welcoming. Enjoyable stay with friends, plenty of space. Toilet block kept clean and restocked, showers nice and large and hot water. Washing up area, great supplies, bowls, liquid and sponges.
Took a little look at bluebell railway, walked to Newick, lovely walk, fab cafe.
A great weekend was had, many many thanks.

Also weekend bar, pizza, coffee mornings available.

Shame the brewery taproom has closed down.
Some gateways could do with vegetation trimming, but these things grow….

Loved this site. Had a large pitch next to river. Coffee cart with fantastic pastries for breakfast. Outdoor showers with loads of hot water. Rope swings, large field for ball games and table tennis. Generous bag of wood for bonfires in the evening. Very helpful staff.
