Good size pitches. Plenty of toilets & showers. A bit of a hidden gem. Great value for money.

Shower & toilet facilities would benefit from being cleaned at least twice a day, once a day is not enough, by the end of the day the state of these is questionable. Likewise, the washing up area could do with a clean, not sure this was ever done.

Despite the poor weather this year my wife, two boys and I had a really lovely 8 nights camping at OBCP. Our pitch was plenty big enough to host our large family tent and car/trailer. The site is spacious with room for the older kids to play games, ride bikes and make friends, and the large new play tower was a plus for the younger ones. It was nice to sit and have a drink on the decking overlooking the fishing lake at the café/bar, especially around sunset. The washroom and toilet facilities were great. Staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our walks around and from the site, spotting the farm animals and all the other wildlife, and to the nearby villages for a pint. We had lovely food at The Gamekeeper in Old Buckingham. Will definitely be back!!

Only very slight improvements to suggest would be to improve the pitch signage as some letters seemed to be missing or only on one end of a row. It took us a while to find our spot and we saw other campers that had pitched on the wrong side of their row and had to move after putting their tents up. Also to fill in some of the deeper holes on the roads in and out of site. But this is nit picking really and would not put us off returning at all.

First time visiting this little gem we was lucky enough to be rite in front of the lake peace and quiet at its best despite its whole weekend of rain 🙄 definitely will be visiting again

Great facilities, playground for kids is fab and the bar food was lovely too.
Debbie was amazing when our tent flooded and found us new accommodation for our final evening!
Overall, a brilliantly stay.

More of a personal preference than a dislike, I would have preferred an onsite shop rather than the cafe/mobile food vendors, for a few reasons, the mobile vendors prices were high, 2 pots of macorni cheese £17, our choices were limited, especially the first night as the fryer was broken, we then had to leave the site to find somewhere to eat, we normally bring our own food but had come straight from work on this occasion, so as there was a cafe on site we thought we would get a meal onsite instead.

Great bar and cafe area that overlooks the lake. Lovely place to walk down and get a drink.
The play area is one of the best I've seen, our daughter loved it.
The toilet and shower block was spotless and very new. Nice big cubicles to get changed in, would be better if there were more though.
The pitches themselves are decent however, they do place you quite close together. You don't have much room if any for your vehicle.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay but wouldn't go at busy peak season. Could do with a small shop on site too just for milk etc.
