Love the vibe at this site. I stayed with my extended family and multiple young children on the weekend of the Falmouth Shanty Festival and it was the perfect, peaceful base away from the busyness of Falmouth but still easy to access the town. The owner is brilliant and really accommodating, the facilities are simple but clean and work really well for families with kids. Will definitely be back again.

Fantastic kitchen and showering. Amazingly good local food available through the owners at the farmhouse. Close to Falmouth for the Sea Shanty Festival.

Peaceful location, lovely views over a wooded valley, good facilities, level pitches, friendly owner. Enjoyed our stay there. There was a lovely little nature walk starting from the camp site where we could walk our dog, a large central grassy area with a swing for children and many, many walks within a short drive. 10 minutes from Falmouth.

Toilet and showers as mentioned by others are in need of repair and bad condition not the cleanest. Big hole in shower roof. No lock on showers in old concrete block. Not worth the money. Like others also mentioned not greeted and details on board for self check-in not updated. Also like others mentioned electric points on floor not easy to find and it tripped . For safety should be on their own posts .

Views incredible

Site is a bit dated but the views are worth it.

We were given an option of three available pitches so chose one with a picnic table that also had a firepit in the centre of it - it was very handy for disposable BBQs. There was an older toilet/shower block which was a bit dated but still really clean. There was also a newer wooden cabin containing two full bathrooms - the shower was excellent and very powerful. There was also a good washing up station inside the cabin. As the campsite is quite small, it's a very short walk to the facilities wherever you're pitched. Decent 4G signal.

There's no reception for checking in and when we arrived, there was a note for new arrivals with their pitch numbers on the notice board but it was several days old so had to ring two numbers to find out where we should pitch, which was a bit disconcerting having travelled quite far. Our pitch wasn't very level and others didn't appear to be either, so would advise to bring wheel chocks.

Super quiet campsite and so calm. Just a lovely place to relax and refresh. Yet only minutes from Falmouth. Facilities were excellent and clean. Super friendly host.
