The casual site, good facilities, clean

A wonderful site with clean and pleasant facilities. Beautifully quiet (when we stayed) and with excellent shower and washing up facilities. A simple arrivals system (read the board) - although we stuck our camper van on a slight slope the first night - but the wonderful owner put us right the next day and we had a more horizontal sleep the last few nights. No problems with water, electricity or noise - all excellent. We will certainly be back. Also some lovely 'regulars' in some of the caravans who were lovely to chat to.
Excellent access to the Penryn campus where our son studies so we'll definitely be back. Just need to decide whether its in a camper van or a tent!

Great site plenty off room on pitch electric price very reasonable. The shower rooms are first class with plenty of hot water. Just wish we lived closer. Many thanks.

Really quiet with stunning views. Main kitchen and shower facilities are great. Huge shower, really powerful and hot water! Kitchen has everything you need, a fridge freezer if you’re in a tent and don’t have anywhere to keep your beers/food etc cold.

We have just returned from Menallack Farm which was our base to attend the Falmouth Sea Shanty Festival. This site is SO
peaceful and the views are amazing. As a family we had booked 3 types of accommodation: touring caravan pitch, camping pitch and a glamping pod. The owners made every effort to make sure we were close enough together, even offering to change pitches if thought others more suitable. The children in our group loved the central play area and the rope swing as well as the valley walk to see the farm animals. Particularly useful for families are the showering/toilet facilities housed in the wooden building where there is room for the whole family to wash & shower together. This building also houses information boards, a coffee machine, a washing machine and fridge freezer for the use of campers. The owners were friendly and very helpful throughout. We will definitely return to Mennallack Farm next year!

We stayed for a short weekend for the sea shanty festival. So was close enough for us. Do need a car to get anywhere though. Site was clean and had good facilities. nice flat pitch size for tent and friendly staff. Will stay again
