Location, lovely and peaceful in among the apple trees. Very friendly management.

We had a wonderful stay at the campsite among the orchard. The people who ran it were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and we enjoyed spending the afternoon at the tap room. Facilities were great, including clean bathroom and showers, and also a pizza oven we made use of one evening.

Beautiful site with good size pitches, lovely to be camping in the orchard. Facilities were clean and good number for the size of the site. The owner is really helpful and friendly. On site taproom was a bonus!

It is a beautiful campsite set in the orchard of the farm. Provides a wonderful getaway from hustle and bustle - no electricity or street lighting just a clear view to the stars (weather permitting).
Facilities are functional, stylish and kept very clean.
the campsite is now managed by the welcoming and enterprising Adrian who also runs the Sobremesa micro-brewery producing a range of delicious ales and bar snacks (including pork-scratchings from the nearby butcher).
There is a drinking water point and fridge/freezer facilities are available.

Nothing been coming for 20 years and love the place.

This is a place where we stayed before and loved it. It is small and green, close to Hey-on-Wye.

This time, it was overbooked and too crowded. Yes, we came in the peak time of the Hay Festival, but the numbers should have been limited like last year. The toilets were blocked because of the amount of people using them.

Loved the simple, relaxing apple tree setting and the tap room. Washrooms were lovely annd clean. Owners were super friendly and very helpful.

The owners are extremely accommodating and it’s a beautiful site with lots of snug pitches surrounded by apple trees. A pizza oven and BBQ can be reserved which we used.

Paying for showers but in fairness £1 lasted longer than some I’ve paid for and the temperature was perfect.

The setting was very nice, pitches charming, host was friendly and good at keeping in touch, and facilities were great. Very clean. The children played in the river or on the swing: outdoorsy, foresty things they enjoyed for a few days. Tap room on site is an excellent bonus: adds character, tasty drinks, does not spoil the peace.
