Small site,clean quiet,and walking distance to the little farm village

Very quiet site with spotless facilities and an owner who was very friendly and put right two minor faults immediately. Its position made it easy to visit places in Yorkshire, Lancashire and the Lake District. A good pub and farm shop in easy walking distance.

Nice and clean esay to find. The maintenance man was a great help when we had a problem with the caravan is name is Martin great help a credit to the camp.

Very noisy from the pods on site only 2 toilet cubicles in the gents toilet.

Stayed here while visiting friends and family in Arnside and Lancaster. Convenient for M6. Prefer to stay in small sites.

Had read other reviews regarding intrusive road noise. It was quiet during the night, although I did hear an occasional vehicle. If we'd wanted to spend an evening sitting outside (which we didn't!) the traffic noise on a midsummer weekend would have been rather intrusive.

Toilet paper ran out on Friday night in one toilet in Ladies loos and on Saturday night in the other Ladies toilet and Gents toilet. Would have expected more attention to daily/twice daily maintenance on what was a busy weekend.

Location is amazing, very peaceful and tranquil area, with all the facilities you could need. There is a well presented male/female/disabled toilets with showers, a laundry room with dish cleaning facilities and proper waste disposal! The pitches are very generous in size and are ideal for families.

This is a really small quibble, and I guess to some it wouldn’t be an issue, but the male and female toilet blocks only have 2 toilets and one shower per block. Now it was quiet when we stayed here with only 4 of the 11 pitches occupied, and even with 4 pitches there was still over a hour wait to use the shower, so I can imagine that being a proper nightmare if the site was full with everyone using the shower. WiFi signal was also really poor, could not stream anything or maintain a connection

Lovely clean site, good security measures, plenty of hot water! Helpful wardens when needed. Farm shop, restaurant and pub within 5-10 minutes walk. Very handy for the motorway.

Beautiful little site yes there was road noise but once you got settled down you could switch off and just enjoy. Owners were very welcoming and helpful, facilities were all very clean. Farm shop over the road sold some lovely treats and meat from butchers counter was delicious. Pub on the corner was the perfect stop off for a well deserved drink after we had strolled along the canal to Carnforth (4 miles away) which was so peaceful and we only met a handful of people there and back which was ideal for our dog who loved jumping in and out of the canal to cool off. We will definitely be going back and our friends would all like to go also.
