A drive out to the Kirkstone Pass is a must in my opinion but watch out for the pricey Ice-cream van near the Kirkstone Inn. 5 minute walk away from a local country pub (shows Sky/TNT sports) serves food and real ales. You have the farm shop and crazy golf also nearby. We stayed for 3 nights but it wasn't enough! Definitely booking again for a few weeks time to do some more of the Wainwright's and the crazy golf (£5 per adult). Lovely little clean and tidy site. Free WiFi a bonus. You can't complain about the price, as other sites don't always include electric and WiFi in the price. Can definitely recommend.
