Toilet, shower clean tidy

Bit of a hike to the toilet & shower as it shared with pool.

the views were lovely, very small site with a play park for the kids to burn off steam, showers were warm and had a hair dryer in the toilets. toilets were clean. a good torch is required though as it is a bit of a walk to the toilets and the path is not lit. situated in a lovely spot for walking/ hiking and short drive to bigger towns. will definatly go back. the pool wasnt open when we were there but in the summer months with the pool the pool looks fab! might book for summer!

we went for easter holidays and found that it was a bit water logged (1 caravan had to be pulled out next to us) this cant be helped as it had been particularly wet over the previous weeks to our arrival. i deleted my email and didnt realise and could not get in touch with anyone as this is a volunteer run site so make sure you check your confirmation and write down the code for the toilet block and dont make my mistake! this was my error and not the sites though just a heads up!

Lovely setting by the river, near a good pub and shops.

Long walk to the showers, and the ground was very wet.

Brilliant park, loads to do nearby and magnificent walks with views. Pool would be great in the summer.

Great place to use as a stop over. This community run site was a great choice and the toilets and showers where very clean. The volunteers where very helpful. Great local pub for dinner. Definitely use this site again.

The site was perfectly peaceful.
The staff we saw was very helpful and met us down at the campsite as we got a little lost finding the site.
He was very friendly and helpful

I liked how well the campsite was ran, there were plenty of amenities on site to make the stay comfortable and even more so in the village so that we would not go without! 10/10
