Very well organised, very helpfull staff, clean toilets and showers. The electric pitch was well sized. They have a little shop at the reception.

Had to stop over somewhere as daughter had a cricket match at Sussex university early in the morning and didn’t fancy the Dartford battle. Met at 19:30 after reception had closed by a friendly gent who helped us find a pitch and explained the site perfectly.
Showers are great; hot constant and a good area to get ready away from the shower.
Good recycling area, bins and even a small dog shower station.

Shower/toilet facilities are very clean and well kept

Site makes it look like there is a play park for children, the play park is actually off site, few minutes walk up the road.

Wardens are lovely. Always very welcoming. Facilities are immaculate.

The site was lovely. It was well kept and clean. The bathrooms were very good and they also had services for grey and toilet waste. It had a small shop on site providing essentials and sweets for the kids. The whole site is fenced so very safe for families. The staff on the site were friendly and helpful. We found the site to be well situated. Right behind the site was the village green with a lovely dry path all around the perimeter just right for dog walking or kids cycling and a great field for kids games. There was a play park for the kids and some workout equipment for public use. Again, this was very well maintained by the village and a bonus for the site. The site was only minutes walk from the few shops in Horam, that provided a couple of nights take away. There is also a convenient Coop and small 'everything' store in the same location. This is where you can join the Cuckoo Trail, a well maintained footpath (old railway line) to Heathfield (6 miles round trip from the campsite). We found a small Waitrose right at the end of the trail, so got an ice cream and some bits for BBQ. There is a lake for fishing and a small licenced café that served a lovely breakfast, coffee and cakes and other delights on their menu. They also had some events on the calendar. All round a nice site that we would recommend to others including couples but especially families.

The motorhome service area was not easy to access, but we were told by one of the wardens that they are looking to improve that.

Amazing place, staff superb. Had borrowed a friend’s camper van (again) as my boys love it.
The staff, the facilities, faultless.
The staff seem so genuine and happy to help. The lady that checked us in was so friendly and then a guy came round in the evening to check how everyone is doing and if they needed anything.
Customer service absolutely top notch.
Unfortunately we were only there for one night but would absolutely love to stay longer, next time.

We loved absolutely anything! The very warm welcome, the peaceful site, the amazing amenities and the cleanliness of the site in general. We would highly recommend this site and we Erik definitely be back!
