Der Stromanschluss hat auch sehr gut geklappt.

Duschen, Toiletten und Waschplätze könnten aufgefrischt werden.

The owners. Clearly experienced and were on hand for any issues like someone had music on after 10:30 which would have totally ruined the peace of a camping trip so phoned them and they came right away and got them to turn it off. Thank you!

The cleanliness, the staff and the park

Quite busy with tents which I thought would been toilets and showers would be over capacity

Large pitches, peaceful field (we were in the smaller predominantly touring field). Location was lovely for local walks and near a few shops. Friendly, helpful staff running the camp. The playground on site was very basic but there was a really good public park a 7/8 minute walk away.

Unfortunately the kids couldn't play ball games in our field which meant having to relocate everytime they wanted to play which I understood, it was just a faff. The toilet and shower blocks looked clean at the outset but a dirty mop bucket didn't appear to be changed the whole time we were there and the soap dispensers weren't checked, I had to report they were empty. Apparently the men's had been for a couple of days 🤢 The window sills in the showers were thick with dust. Obviously you don't expect things to be immaculate, this is camping. Just simple adjustments that would have made a big difference.

There wasn't really anything we disliked. If we had to suggest improvements they would be; children's play area could do with a bit of sprucing up and we would request a pitch away from the main entrance.

We loved the sizes of the pitches and how many families were around us for our little boy to play with.
The shop is great for the kids constant snack urges and the couple running the site are the loveliest people.

The showers tend to go cold quickly but this is because others waste water when washing hair.The shower blocks are quite dated and could do with a refresh however I appreciate the expense this would require. The toilets didn’t flush easily but once you know how it’s fine.
The play area is looking a little tired too. Could just do with more to be classed as a play area.

Brilliant pitch, very flat, next to the boarder fence so met many dog walkers in the morning and evenings

The pitch was well maintained and the water and electric point were close and accessible. The location was close to the cukoo trail and there is a nice pub close by, also local amenities and shops all within walking distance

The facilities are all very dated and are a bit damp and cold. But were generally clean. The drinking (one tap in a phone box) water is heavily chlorinated and so we had to buy bottled water to drink and cook.
