The site itself the shower block is nice and kept clean but should be free the half moon was very welcoming and food was really good overall a nice site

Only 1 toilet and sink in the gents for everyone on site the shower facilities are nice but too expensive should be free to use

Location

Unfortunately on our stay, we found out earlier on that the pub/camping car park was used for boy racers. We ignored the reving engines and foul language for a number of hours or so until our young children went to bed. With the noise showing no end I decided to confront the chavs and asked if they could keep the noise down as our kids were in bed. This resulted them in turning the car park into a racetrack, wheel spinning the cars and causing damage to our caravan from the flying stones. When finding the owner the next day, it was just brushed off and was told 'oh im sure its nothing you didn't do when you was younger' dont bother visiting this place, plenty more nicer places around and won't be kept up with noise and idiots.

Great pitch with electric hook up and fresh water. Toilet facilities nearby.
Good dog walking along the path at the back of the pitches.
The grass pitches get the afternoon sun.
Pub was great with friendly staff. We had a lovely Sunday lunch carvery.
We returned later in the evening and joined in the quiz. Great fun.
Very dog friendly.

Second stay on this site and we cannot fault it. The food in the pub is absolutely stunning and the site is quiet enough, with ample space on the pitches. We stayed on a hardstanding electrical pitch which we had no issues finding or hooking up to.

We received a text the morning of our stay detailing the pitch we would be on for the duration of the stay with some more information on the site such as location of showers, pub opening times and where to find our plot.

Andy and all staff we spoke with were polite and helpful. Already discussing our next stay
