Everything peace a quiet was lovely

Pitching is round the perimeter leaving room for families to play with their children in the centre. Level pitches well sheltered. Would have liked a mirror in the ladies toilet instead of outside in shared area. Wifi did not reach pitches but was ok in pub. Quiet location, very peaceful.

Pub food very good and reasonably priced as were the drinks.

Lovely little campsite at the side of the river Humber you can walk up the banking with a picnic and enjoy watching the ships go by at high tide . Everyone was very friendly the children loved the park. Great size pitches , we stayed on a gravel with grass pitch. The best part was the half moon inn pub food , I would definitely recommend the steak sizzler it was delicious and great value for money. My son left his iPad in the beer garden as we left, but someone kindly handed it in and we got it back the following day. We will definitely be booking again.

Very pleasant setting ample room and very peaceful. The atmosphere at the pub was welcoming. The food was good, (real chips),and the staff friendly. Very close to Blackfoot Sands bird reserve

The facilities were ok but minimum. We used our own van facilities which is what they are there for.

Had a meal in the pub which was very good.

Toilets quite clean floors could do with a good wash. No mirrors or anywhere for toiletries while washing or shaving 2 showers only one working at a charge of £1 for 2 minutes.
Be aware. At bar asked for pint and my partner wanted cider. I was given a pint of cider, was not asked if wanted pint or half. No big deal.
Order meal which was
On specials board, fish and chips 2 for £20. Did not realise until got home we were charged the normal price. When I asked to pay I was just given card reader but not showing the amount just where you present the card. Trustingly I presented my card.
So be aware if you want the specials board to ask for the menu off that.

Peaceful, clean.

Basic no frills campsite at the rear of a pub. Received a text on the day of arrival with pitch numbers and information etc but never actually met or saw the owners. Toilets were OK, no mirrors above sinks, showers in a seperate block. £1 charge for showers which we were aware of, however we were not aware it was only for 2 mins which is not long enough In my opinion. Pitchs were on the small side and no clear instruction where to park cars. If we parked in front of the van we blocked the road so we parked opposite on the field one night but the next day we couldn't as people were playing football right outside our van on the field which was fine. Could have put it in the car park I suppose. On the whole a basic but clean site, did the job of a local weekend getaway for us.

Lovely quiet site with the bonus of having a pub on site 🍺😊

No wash basins to wash or clean your teeth in other than the single one in the toilets

Lovely quiet spot with walking on the river straight from the site. Stayed one night. Good pub for a bite to eat.

Ever nice we love it and ever nice time

Nice , large flat gravel pitch. Family friendly site and close to the river for walks. The pub was very popular and the food was delicious. All staff were very helpful and friendly. Customer service and communication was great .

My only niggle was access to the toilets and separate shower facilities. My mobility is compromised right now so I found them difficult to access.
