We booked this one as it said fishing available on site for my son however there is no possible way of fishing at the river due to mud and reeds. Can’t be helped but shouldn’t be advertised as a fishing site. Have to pay for showers however the water stops every few seconds so you have to constantly press the button to restart it, when your on a time limit it isn’t ideal
we do not advertise fishing on site, the fishing pond is 1 mile away, or the river Trent is 4 miles away. I ve just read through our Pitch Up description again to confirm, & it says fishing nearby. Maybe you'll put your glasses on next time your looking where to book. You booked a pub campsite but felt 'Bit awkward' staying in a field behind a put?? Where on the spectrum are you?

N'a pas aimé : No one was around so unfortunately when people are coming back from the pub pissed up arguing and fighting and music blaring across the camp site till 2 in a morning with the group of 3 tents all pissed up shouting and arguing meaning I had to drive home with my two youngest children at 2am who was tired and wanted to sleep wasn’t very good, my husband stayed with our stuff but we had to pack up and leave a night early as the same group was drinking from morning arguing and shouting and definitely didn’t want a repeat performance of the night before
If there was security or staff onsite they would of known they had been arguing in the pub on site nearly fighting (we know this as they was bragging about it) they would also be able to tell them to quieten down & also turn music off as I’m sure just like us next to them the tents at the end from us would of felt the same
Sorry about the family arguing & playing music on the Saturday night.
You where issued with a contact number If there was any problems. Nobody contacted me so couldn't do anything about it.
All you had to do was send a text & I would of been on site in minutes.
We knew nothing about it until next morning.

the shower block hot water is on 24hrs 7days 52 weeks, running them with electric & water costs the site a lot more than we take on payment. We didn't increase pitch fees to cover costs as its not fare on those in caravans & motorhomes that don't use them.
